During General Time, we come to worship God without a specific event to celebrate. General Time begins the Sunday after Pentecost and continues until Christ the King Sunday, the final Sunday of the Church year. Advent, the start of the Church year, begins the following week.

 

"O come, let us worship and bow down: Let us kneel before the Lord our maker. For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. "
