Owl and Forum School Internships
Each Tuesday morning and afternoon we welcome differently abled children into the office to help us with administrative tasks and build their resume experience.
We provide land for housing for the differently-abled. This housing is named after one of our members, Tom Lehmann, who led programs at the church for youth from his wheelchair.
We provide space for Alcoholics Anonymous groups on Monday and Friday nights at 8 PM, and Thursday nights at 7:30 PM.
In our immediate area, we are part of the Upper Pascack Valley Clergy Association, an interfaith group. Once a month, the many religious leaders of the Pascack Valley join together for food, fellowship, support and collaboration on community projects. (Examples include joining congregations at Temple Beth Or for a unity service, working with the Peace Islands Institute to learn more about Islam, or the vigil we held in our very own Pascack Reformed for the victims of the shooting in the Orlando Pulse nightclub.) Each year we celebrate an interfaith Thanksgiving service together.
Regional Multicultural Conference
In our state and beyond, our minister and members are leaders and volunteers in the Regional Synod’s multicultural conference - Speaking Truth to Power: Giving Voice to the Voiceless. This spans the region of the New Jersey, Delaware, and part of Pennsylvania. The 2017 Multicultural Conference will be held at Ramapo Reformed Church on Nov. 4th in Mahwah, NJ. Learning and festivities begin at 9:00 am!
